Water-Chestnut Cake 马蹄糕

Water-Chestnut Cake

Ingredients:
1. 1 box of water-chestnut flour (around $2 in a yellow box)
2. 350 grams of rock sugar
3. 7 cups of water
4. 1-2 tablespoons of oil
5. 8-10 pieces of water-chestnuts (chopped)

Method:
1. Boil rock sugar with 6 cups of water
2. Mix the water-chestnut flour with 1 cup of water
3. When water boils, lower the heat, pour the flour solution into the sugar solution and mix well.
4. Until solution turns transparent and thick, add oil and water-chestnuts and mix.
5. Pour into container or mould to set
6. Serve when it’s cold of pan fry.

马蹄糕

材料:
1. 一盒 马蹄粉 (黄色的盒子,大约$2)
2. 350g 冰糖
3. 7 杯水
4. 1-2 汤匙油
5. 8-10粒马蹄

做法:
1. 用6杯水煮熔冰糖
2. 用1杯水开马蹄粉
3. 水滚后,慢火加入马蹄粉,缓缓搅拌
4. 搅拌至液体透明,加油和马蹄再搅
5. 放入容器待冷却放冰箱
6. 冷吃或煎热食亦可
